Earth, the year 2824.
In the 22nd century mankind has found a way to leave a memory of itself on the history - digitization of Internet personhood, at the expense of spending the resources of the body. The younger a person is, the more energy he/she gives to the creation of a page. Therefore, the younger the person, the more useless information and larger the page. Old people have less energy, so pages are smaller, but with more content, more structured information, experience and wisdom. The exception, of course, are young geniuses, but few of them wanted to use this method of immortalization.
Our hero, a descendant of people who refused the new method of preserving themselves
In that time, the world has died and begun to rebuild.
In the data centers with scanned people left a lot of forgotten knowledge.
He is the one who is mining this most useful data.
The problem of Data Centers with digitized people is that the longer you dig and change something on the person's page, the more it breaks. Ancient people didn't know that. Memory hunter is a sought-after but dangerous job. Some hunters have disappeared mystically.
This time the hero was ordered to retrieve the memory of an aviation engineer. After gathering information, the hero narrowed down the location of the node with the necessary memory to a certain data center. Going there he traversed uninhabited lands where nature took its natural, inimitable form.
After getting to the data center, and sneaking into the century-beaten but incredibly stable building, the hero found an access point and prepared to plunder.
